Snow in late March

by Chad on Mar 20, 2010 at 12:21 PM Filed in
As I look outside it is hard to believe that Oklahoma is getting tons of snow.  Currently we are at 60 degrees and a partly cloudy sky.  Snow is expected in Arkansas tonight.  The fishing and the weather have been so good this week.  I hope this storm moves quickly and does not dump a ton of rain on us.  Keep your fingers crossed.  The good news is the Little Red River, the Norfork River and the White are all off this entire weekend.  I do not know the last time this happened on our rivers.  Go fly fishing in Arkansas.

Eager to learn this fly fishing thing. Went out last Saturday on the Little Red and found out it is a lot harder on the river than it is in the back yard. Did not have the right flies or the right technique. Looking forward to learning.

May have to try this instructional trip idea.
