EDUCATION: CLASSES:
ROD BUILDING
Presented by owner Tom Hawthorne, the basic rod building course covers tool requirements, component selection, component assembly and finishing.
The student, upon completion of the course, will be able to select and assemble all the parts of a fine graphite rod. The course consists of four 2-hour sessions, to begin at 6:30 pm and conclude at 8:30 pm.
As a reminder, rod builders should call or come by the shop at least two weeks prior to the class for the purpose of choosing the rod they wish to complete during the class. Additional charges apply for blanks, hardware and finish.
The cost of the class is $95.00 per person with the class limited to four builders.
