Environmental Tips

When fly fishing on any of the rivers or lakes in Arkansas, please observe these basic environmental guidelines.
  1. Never use studded wading shoes when fishing.
  2. Always release fish without touching them directly with your hands.
  3. Never fish for actively spawning fish or fish on redds.
  4. Protect your fishery by turning in violations against Arkansas fishing laws.
  5. Always pick up trash from the river as you wade along the shore to keep the rivers and lakes clean.
