When you take a guided or instructional trip with one of our professional guides, you can expect to be using some of the best name brand equipment available.
McKenzie Drift Boats
For our float trips, we use special fly fishing boats known as "drift" boats made from quality manufacturers such as McKenzie River Drift Boats, Hyde Boats and Don Hill River Boats.
Our drift boats allow fisherman to experience the entire river, regardless of water levels, not just the crowded public access areas. The stealth and mobility of the drift boat allows the fly fisherman more chances at bigger fish throughout the day.
Orvis Rods and Reels
Regarding fishing gear and accessories, we offer an Orvis demo program in which Orvis rods, waders and reels are available for guided fly fishing day trips or for extended trips.
The demo program is especially useful for allowing fly fishers to try new rods before making an initial purchase. It also allows fishermen the opportunity to go on that trip of a lifetime without a large outlay of money for equipment they might otherwise use only once or twice.
Flys by The Ozark Angler
For fly fisherman needing flys, we offer the largest assortment of flys available anywhere in Arkansas. And if we happen not to have it, then we can make it ourselves since our staff and guides tie many of the flies sold in the shop.
Our flies are constantly being improved in order to give every fly fisherman the best chance to catch that fish of a lifetime. So remember, we do offer customer fly tying services for those fisherman that may not have the time but do have the specifications for what they want.
