I wanted you all to know that I had a great time fishing. All of you were knowledgeable and professional, but not egotistical or unwilling to teach.
I have never fished with more enjoyable guides. Also, you were highly thought of by Steve and Terry - and they have fished with a number of different guide services. THAT IS A REAL COMPLIMENT.
I hope that I will be able to return for the good fishing and the friendly environment. Who knows, maybe I'll be able to sit in on one of Donnie's classes.

Hello Tom,
I am originally from Pennsylvania where I have enjoyed flyfishing for 17 years. I am 25 years old and I learn new things every time I wade the streams and rivers. I was eight years old when my father gave me my first flyrod. I am not a professional flyfisherman but I am not a "rookie" either.
I was recently sent to Little Rock on business. My first visit to Little Rock produced little work but great fishing thanks to Donnie Hyslip and an ice storm that hit the areaone week before christmas. When I walked into the Ozark Angler in Heber Springs I was greeted by Donnie. I quickly told him why I was there and where I was from. Then I proceeded to ask questions about where are the access areas and what should I use. He also shared some tying tips with me as I do not travel with out my vise and materials.
Donnie was one of the nicest people I have met in my work travels. It is not that often that you can just walk into a shop and ask questions and have them answered so easily.
Donnie is very knowledgable of the river. During my three day fishing trip I caught almost 150 fish sizes ranging from 12" to 18". I believe with out Donnies help I would have not caught as many fish as I did.
My fishing cap is off to Donnie for his help and expertise.
