Fly-Fishing the Little Red River is a treat that any angler should be happy to have. For the past five years this river has been the backdrop for many of the Fly-Fishing highlights that my clients and I have experienced.

While not born in Arkansas, I moved here when I was five and have considered it home since. My earliest memories of this river actually don’t involve fishing of any type. At the early age of 8 it served as a very cold crash landing location for a boy whose bicycle brakes have gone out at JFK campgrounds. Now as an Adult I feel the excitement of the river and the possibilities each fishing day brings.
As with our other guides, each trip I guide is tailored to the client’s abilities and preferences. From learning basics and heavy instruction with beginners to refining more advanced techniques with increased skill sets (and EVERYTHING in between), I will work to provide a trip that leaves you with a smile on your face and more of that good ole Fly-Fishing know how in your head!
The same effort that went into graduating with degrees from the University of Central Arkansas and the University of Arkansas at Little Rock has also been poured into my love of Fly-Fishing and the joy and fulfillment that come from showing and sharing this outstanding sport with others. My hearts other joy is music, whether it be listening to, playing or going to see, I just can’t get enough…so if you have a soft spot for tunes while you fish let me know and we could probably even accommodate that!!
If you are planning a Fly-Fishing trip to the Little Red River and think you could handle a warm patient spirit, great scenery, good lunch, smiles and good times (not to mention the FISHING!) then please let me share this experience with you. I will give you all I can to make sure you have a trip that leaves knowledge, smiles and memories throughout your angling lives!
